Ecca Vandal is an up and coming artist with a signature sound and massive stage presence.  Ecca came smashing into the Australian music scene in 2015 with singles ‘Father Hustler’ and ‘White Flag’ with a distinctive sound with a rich aggregation of influences. The heavy punk and hip-hop inspired artist has not been idle since her 2015 releases with some killer live performances. Opening for DZ Deathrays ‘Pollyanna’ Tour last year her performance was a pleasant surprise for the audience who may not have been familiar with her sound, ending the night with a collaboration with the headliners with an epic cover of Beastie Boys ‘Sabotage’ that blew our minds.

With the release of ‘Broke Days, Party Nights’ in July this year, her new album has been highly anticipated. Ecca's follow up teaser ‘Future Heroin’ did not defy expectations either, both featuring a more refined and individual sound but with the similar style of powerful subject matter. With no fear of pushing the boundaries and trying things outside what's considered as accepted elements, Ecca is a breath of fresh air in both the Australian and international music scenes.

With her much-anticipated debut self-titled album expected to drop on the 20th of October with a national tour throughout November, we are really keen to see some big shows and some big collaborations. Sydneysiders can see her at the Oxford Art Factory on November 10th so get your tix soon!
